Cancellation Policy of Gorey Holidays

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which guests may cancel their reservations with Gorey Holidays (“we”, “us”, “our”) and is applicable to all bookings made directly through our website, via telephone, or through any affiliated booking platforms. 

By finalising a booking, you, the guest, consent to be bound by the stipulations of this policy.

Cancellation by Guests

We recognise that plans can change, leading to the necessity of cancelling your booking. The conditions for refunds upon cancellation by guests are as follows:

  1. 7 Days or Less Notice: Cancellations made with 7 days or less notice prior to the scheduled start date of your holiday will not qualify for a refund. The full cost of the booking will be charged.

  2. 8 to 14 Days Notice: Cancellations made with 8 to 14 days notice before the scheduled start date of your holiday will refund the total amount paid, minus the cleaning fee and any applicable charges (for example, payment processing fees such as those charged by PayPal, which are currently at 3.5%).

  3. 15 Days or More Notice: Cancellations made with 15 days or more notice before the scheduled start date of your holiday will receive a full refund minus any applicable charges (e.g., payment processing fees such as PayPal fees, which stand at 3.5%).

Refunds owed to guests under this policy will be processed within 5 working days from the receipt of the cancellation notice.

Cancellation Insurance: To safeguard against unexpected cancellations, we highly recommend guests procure cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by Gorey Holidays

In the rare event that we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be entitled to a full refund of all payments made to us for the booking. Beyond the provision of a full refund, we shall bear no further liability to you due to such cancellation.

General Terms

  • This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • We reserve the right to amend this Cancellation Policy at any time. Amendments will immediately affect their posting on our website. By booking after such amendments are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised policy.
  • This policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and Gorey Holidays regarding your booking cancellation, and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether established orally or in writing, regarding the subject matter.
